Large White Handmade Pot

This large, smooth white painted pot has been handmade in a small village community situated in the mountainous region of Jonggek, Central Lombok.

Displaying the skills of this artisan community, this pot is a wonderful example of something made by hand. The four bands of textural, indent marks that stretch around the vase add depth and offset the smoother orb-shaped base layer of the vase.
